Climate Change Mitigation: Grid-connected wind power program, Vietnam

The energy political and technical framework conditions for developing grid-connected wind power projects in Vietnam is to be upgraded, so that 500 MW wind power capacity can be installed by 2020. To this end, a Feed-In regulation comparable to the German Feed-In Law being drafted together with Vietnamese agencies and institutions, and in consultation with local stakeholders. Technical, economic, ecological and legal aspects are considered.
