Introduction of a Renewable Energy Feed-In Tariff, Zambia

The Zambian government plans the introduction of a Renewable Energy Feed-In Tariff (REFIT) which shall promote deployment of solar energy and biomass based electricity generation with fixed remunerations. A study compares international experiences of such schemes with a focus on African nations. The findings of the study are discussed with stake-holders in a multi-stage process.
